This study abroad course is being run as the Department of Geosciences course called GEOL or GEOG 3700 Field Experience, which is a required core course for the BSc in Geosciences at ETSU. The course is several years old and has been offered domestically (Southwest, Pacific Northwest, Hawaii, Puerto Rico) and internationally (Canada). Prior to the Field Experience designation it was offered as Field Camp and prior to this it was run as an Independent Study course.
Dr. Gregg began his graduate school studies at University of Canterbury in Christchurch, NZ in 1998 and has maintained connections with many NZ university, industry and government researchers since that time. He has great experience in running both domestic and international field trips through his positions with ETSU, University of Geneva (Switzerland) and University of Hawaii.
